Introduce yourself and what you hope to get out of this doujinshi discussion/critique group.
Note: For your safety don't post any personal information you don't want the whole world wide web to know. We do have anonymous artist forums that only members can see(and some they can't see). You can always use the PM feature if you need to contact someone.

I hope to learn from fellow artists and root each other on with our own doujinshi and possible group projects. I hope we will be eachother's editorial staff and make the best work we can to help establish a doujinshi culture in the Northwest.

Ok, I guess I'll go then!
My name is Ellen. You can call me that, or Genki or Ichigo or whatever you like!
Personally, I really hope that this will be a great learning experience for me. Hopefully I'll be able to offer a little bit of knowledge myself, but I guess we'll see. In other words, what you two above me said! XD

Hey, I'm Kate and I go as mellonemrys online. (I've had a multitude of nicknames at this point, I don't mind adding to the list.)
I've been writing fanfics and drawing fan art for about 7 years now, and although I always have lots of ideas, I rarely follow through with them. (but that makes me a good person to bounce ideas off of)
I suppose I hope to get some motivation, and more practice with sequential art.
BTW, Em: I have an RP character named Em ^__^ (just thought it was amusing)
My name is Kayla and I go as Rio on the net. I love drawing manga and doujinshi, and I need more practice with sitting down and actually doing some sequential art instead of just practicing my illustration skills. Maybe I can hook up with more good writers. Hoping to find other dedicated artists who aren't afraid to give honest critique.

Hello, my name is Loch. I've been a manga fan for many years and I've recently started illustrating my own comics. I hope to network and meet people who can help me get my comics out there. I have samples of work on my deviant art profile under artgrad08, many thanks!!!
welcome rioamare and orangeyjususan! I'm excited to have some more talented folks join our already talented group on the forums. If you have any projects that are your own or if your interested in publishing doujinshi through the group project feel free to post a thread in the Manga-ka/shi-ka status updates page. If your here to chill or paticipate in the critiques that's great too. Can't wait to observe what sequential works you produce.
my name is venton, although i go by just about anything with v that isnt longer than valentine. im the assistant convention chairman for mew con. i've been into drawing both anime and still life for years, tried making a doujin once... but never really finnished it...
anyways im mostaly here to take a look around, network, check and see if anyone is intrested in participating in any of mew cons contests, and if anyone here is anywhere in the area of seattle washington, since theres lots of events in the area and soon to be many more...
im hoping i can find whos in charge of the forums at some point since i have a handful of questions for them!
Welcome Varja... glad to have you sign up. currently administering the forum and I kind of got things rolling with our little band. We moved over here so we wouldn't monopolize the con forums. We haven't formalized our mission statement yet but people seemed to like the one I suggested at MEWCon. Feel free to PM me questions. Things will be heating up around here as June Approaches. So we can get our anthology finished. But we'd love to here more about MEWCon and any ideas, art contributions or critiques you may have.
Hi, I'm Vanna. (<-- a dimunitive of my real name.) I'm not a doujin artist but I'd love to learn how to draw manga style comics. At the moment I half-ass little drawings here and there. I love to write though and I have a stunningly purple, melodramatic style.

Oooh welcome Vanna! It's nice to see someone new. The group is a little bit slow right now, but hopefully in the future it will pick up again. Our fearless leader is unavailable while he's at boot camp for a little while. I look forward to seeing some of your works. n.n<3
